The midsize Seamaster Professional, in 36mm and accompanied by the infamous Omega blue wave dial. Inside is the calibre 1120, Omega's COSC-certified automatic movement (built on the ETA 2892-A2 .) This factory eta movement allows for chronometer accuracy on a base that any watchmaker in the world can open and service. What you notice first is the dial. The hour markers have a beautiful patina from aging of the dial over 20+ years. The hour indices have warmed to a creamy amber against the navy blue wave dial. This type of patina only occurs originally to a watch after years of aging and exposure to natural sunlight.
Original aged patina on vintage watches make a timepiece unique and potentially more sought after by collectors. There are light surface scratches on the bezel insert showing its character and age. The colour composition and case are in excellent condition. The bezel insert is functioning very well with its unidirectional ability and bright blue colour. The braclet is the original Omega Seamaster 4 link bracelet with it’s factory polish The caseback features Omega's well known seahorse medallion which is untouched, and still sharp in detail. This watches movement is running quite strong for its age, at around ± 6 seconds a day. This SMP 300M was inspected by a local watchmaker in July and was not in need of a service for overall movement and function of the watch. Watch is great overall condition and ready to be worn.
